Closed Cases

  • On August 13, 2018, Christopher Lee Watts murdered his pregnant wife Shanann (34) by strangulation, and their two children Bella (4) and Celeste (3) by smothering them. He buried Shanann in a shallow grave near an oil-storage facility and put his children's bodies into crude oil tanks.

  • On December 11, 2008, Caylee's skeletal remains are found with a blanket inside a laundry bag in a wooded area near the Anthony family's house. The medical examiner list Caylee's cause of death as "homicide by undetermined means".

  • On December 26, 1996, JonBenét Patricia Ramsey, age 6 sustained a broken skull from a blow to the head and had been strangled; a garrote was found tied around her neck. The case generated worldwide public and media interest, due to JonBenét being involved in child beauty pageants. The crime is still considered a cold case and remains an open investigation with the Boulder Police Department.

  • On the evening of Sunday, June 12, 1994, Nicole Brown Simpson, aged 35, and her friend Ron Goldman, aged 25 are both stabbed to death outside of Nichol’s home in Brentwood, CA.

  • Between February 1692-May 1693 a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts More than 200 people are accused: thirty people are found guilty, nineteen are executed by hanging (fourteen women and five men).
